According to a recent report released by Webmarketing123, a California based online marketing firm, SEO is still the number one source of business leads for both Business to Consumer and Business to Business marketing. 53% of all participants in the study say that SEO makes the biggest impact on lead generation, followed by 28% for PPC and 19% for social media. But many of those surveyed say they plan to increase their social media marketing presence in 2012.
Both B2B and B2C marketers say that website traffic is how they measure the success of their online marketing efforts. Brand awareness was at the bottom of the list.
